Lumbini Tour
Lumbini is the birth place of Lord Buddha (Siddhartha Gautam) and a religious site for the Buddhist from all over the world. A large stone pillar created by the Indian emperor Ashoka in BC 250 bears an inscription about the birth of the Buddha it is located in the southern Terai (plains area) of Nepal, where is the ruins of old city can be seen Maya Devi there is a stone image of Maya Devi giving birth to Lord Buddha as she holds onto a branch. To the south of the temple is pool where Queen Maya Devi is said to have bathed and given her son his purification bath. Kapilvastu which is near Lumbini evoke the ancient Palace where Lord Buddha spent his formative years. Scattered foundations of the palace are abundant, and archeologists have by now discovered 13 successive layers of human habitation dating back to the eight century BC.
Itinerary
Day 01 Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345meters). You will be met by our representative and transfer to hotel and a short brief about the Tour after refreshment and proceed to Kathamndu durbar Square for sightseeing , overnight at hotel in Kathamndu
Day 02 Sightseeing in Kathmandu Pasupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa in the morning and sightseeing in Patan Darbar Square and in Monkey temple in the after noon- overnight at Hotel in Kathamndu.
Day 03 Drive to Lumbini which takes about 8-9 hours, Check in the hotel and visit lumbini , overnight at hotel in Lumbini.
Day 04 Full day sightseeing to Lumbini, Overnight at hotel in Lumbini.
Day 05 Drive to Kathmandu and overnight at hotel in Kathmandu. or you may combine your tour with other popular tourist destination such as Pokhara or Chitwan.
Day 06 Transfer to Airport for your departure.
