Manaslu Round

This preserved Manaslu round trekking region lies between the two popular trekking areas Annapurna region and Ganesh Himal region in Gorkha district in the western part of Nepal to the border of Tibet.The Gurkhas (ethnic Gurungs) are very famous for the military war in the world. King Prithvi Narayan Shah, ancestor of our ex-King Gyanendra had lived in the palace of Gorkha in the 18th century who unified this modern Nepal. Manaslu round trekking is a very popular trekking destination for camping autonomy and non- tourisstic trekking with its wild route along the beautiful Budigandaki River till Dharmasala base camp of Larkya pass. The original multi inhabitants of the region are: Gurung, Magar, Tamang, Dalit, Bramin and Tibetan.

The main attractions of this region are the excellent views of Ganesh Himal range, Manaslu range and Annapurna range, varieties of flora and fauna, typical houses made by local stone, Buddhist monasteries, stupas, glacier lakes, pet animals like horses and yaks as local transportation, hiding Tsum Valley is the newly opened trekking route in the heart of the Himalayan region Manaslu.The local people of Lhogaun,Samagaun and Sumdo have business relation in Tibet where we can buy also Chinese made goods. The highest altitude point of this trek is Larkya La pass 5240m.
